- Pre & post operative surgical hand scrubbing: Wet hands and forearms with clean, running water.
Take adequate amount (3-5ml) of PuroGuard+ PVS 7.5% scrub to the palm and spread over both hands and forearms. Add a small amount of water to form a lather. Follow hand scrubbing as per WHO recommended steps. - Rinse thoroughly under clean, running water. Repeat if necessary. Dry hands
- Pre-operative skin cleansing, body wash/scrubbing (after shaving the skin area): Wet the area with water. Apply adequate amount of PuroGuard+ PVS 7.5% scrub to the skin and scrub thoroughly for approx 5 minutes. Rinse off using sterile gauze saturated with water. Paint the skin with PuroGuard+ PVT 5% or PuroGuard+ PVT 10% solution and allow it to dry completely before making an incision
